Eugene Delgaudio: Gay Lobby's ACLU sues Pennsylvania over real marriage; VA, NC next
The liberal criminal rights group, American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) has filed a lawsuit against the State of Pennsylvania for the state's real marriage law.
The suit was filed in the U.S. District Court in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on July 9, 2013.
The suit asks a federal judge to intervene in the State of Pennsylvania and to force state officials to sanction homosexual "marriages."
This suit is the first of its kind, and if the court rules in its favor, it would create a devastating precedence - stripping states of their rights to defend marriage.
This lawsuit is the direct result of the Supreme Court's decision to gut the Defense of Marriage Act last month.
Pro-Family states can expect to see a slew of these pro-homosexual suits against marriage in the months to come.
The ACLU has already announced plans to file suits against Virginia and North Carolina.
