GOP Senator Talks Big on Airport Security Pat-Downs: "Hands Off My Wife"
Public Advocate says "But he and his fellow Senate Committee members do nothing."
"We're getting hundreds of calls," said Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) . "They want us to be on top of this."
But Jim DeMint makes no motions.
Sen. George LeMieux (R-Fla.) echoed the concerns of many Americans over the invasive elements of the searches, saying, "I wouldn't want my wife to be touched in the way these people are being touched."
But he makes no moves to end the policy.
It will take more phone calls and other political action to focus demands from the public to get these policies changed.
