Obama and Senate Judiciary Committee Promote Pro-Rapist Judge
CWA reports "Our president, Barack Obama, has decided that a man
who actively empathizes with serial killers and rapists, sex
offenders and child pornographers should be given a promotion to a
lifetime job. Robert Chatigny, a U.S. District judge in
Connecticut, has been nominated by Mr. Obama to the U.S. Court of
Appeals for the 2nd Circuit, a bench position that has led other
judges right up the U.S. Supreme Court.
Judge Chatigny defended a known serial rapist and murderer in court by the name of Michael Ross.
Ross killed eight girls and women. He destroyed the families of those victims. Even to think of a judge sitting on one of the highest courts in the land who so clearly sides with a serial killer and rapist rather than with the victims, or merely the facts of the case, is nauseating.
On June 10, the Senate Judiciary Committee passed Robert Chatigny's nomination out of committee on a 10-8 party line vote (with Democrat Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California declining to vote). Who is Robert Chatigny? He is President Obama's nominee to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit and a judge who has ignored women's safety to show "empathy" to a serial rapist and murderer."
