John Thune, the new Republican majority leader of the U.S. Senate, gave a full interview on Face The Nation Sunday just prior to Monday confirmation of Donald Trump as president by Congress.
"John Thune is the RINO weasel of 2025 in his first interview. Only because Senators announced their support in advance is there anything he will do on some fronts. But forget about resting for a minute when this crook ignores deporting millions of illegal aliens, building any walls or ending horrific forced surgeries on children with sex changes by the government. Thankfully, I have put all Public Advocate supporters on alert that we must keep up the pressure. Its plain English when Thune speaks and I hear he only responds to explicit and repeated public critics demanding pro-Trump and pro-family policies, " says Eugene Delgaudio, president of Public Advovcate.
"When Face the Nation asked if he would get Trump the resources to deport illegal aliens, John Thune responded by saying "maybe", " says Delgaudio.
MARGARET BRENNAN: There are 1.4 million people here with deportation orders, orders of removal against them. I've seen numbers that put the cost of expelling them at between $80 to $100 billion annually. Can you get that kind of money in the first 100 days?
SEN. THUNE: Well, I think that what we're trying to do is get an assessment from the people who are going to be in place. They're going to be implementing a lot of the President's policies when it comes to the border determine what that- that resource allocation is going to need.
