Candace Owens rips Sinful Don Lemon in heated interview
Conservative commentator Candace Owens has confronted former CNN host Don Lemon in a heated interview, telling the gay journalist that his marriage is 'sinful'.
Lemon asked the 35-year-old point-blank if she thought he was 'sinning' for being in a same-sex marriage in a July 12 interview on 'The Don Lemon Show' podcast.
'You think I'm sinful because I'm married to a man?' Lemon asked to which Owens' responded confidently, 'Yes' before doubling down on her comments.
'It's a sin ... You're sinning. You're in a sinful relationship. I actually don't believe marriage can be between two men,' she told Lemon who is married to a 40-year-old man, Tim Malone.
'I hope you deal with that,' the ousted Daily Wire host who has recently come under fire for antisemitic comments said referring to Lemon's sexuality. 'I obviously want you to be Christian and to understand why it is that sodomy is a sin.'
The mother of two even suggested that 'people should get help' for their sexuality.
Lemon, who was fired from CNN last year, attempted to be more confrontational, asking the far-right host if she was homophobic but Owens dodged the question.
'Are you homophobic' he asks while chuckling uncomfortably.
Owens replied awkwardly, saying, 'You're such an absurd human being.'
'What does homophobia even mean,' she said. 'You think I'm scared of two gay men walking down the street, she said. 'I don't fear anything but God.'
