Open Assault On Christians Continues as HGTV Hosts Fired For Pro-Christian Lives

Various online reports say that a "HGTV" show host team have been cancelled from the "HGTV" line up due to their pro-family leadership as private citizens expressing their patriotic and traditional views in public forums years ago.

Their leadership in helping the public build and repair their own homes was set to air in October.

One report posts:

Right Wing Watch reported Tuesday that David Benham (of Flip It Forward) had led a prayer rally outside of the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, NC in 2012, in which he told conservative radio host Janet Mefferd that America's Christian majority must repent for tolerating "homosexuality and its agenda that is attacking the nation" and "demonic ideologies tak[ing] our universities and our public school systems." He also said his brother had joined him in the prayer protest. The group also claimed David leads protests outside of abortion clinics.

Another report stated

"Flip it Forward, a real estate series set to debut in October, has been pulled by the network after Right Wing Watch reported that the twin brothers, David and Jason Benham, at the center of the house flipping show were anti-gay activists."

HGTV (an initialism for Home & Garden Television) is an American basic cable and satellite television channel that is owned by Scripps Networks Interactive. HGTV broadcasts a variety of how-to shows with a focus on home improvement, gardening, craft and remodeling.
