Chris Matthews: George Washington's Family Had 'Values Problems'
Earlier in the year he had a tingling up and down his leg about Barack Obama in one of his speeches.
Now Chris Matthews is claiming that George Washington had a "values problem".
CNS reports "While covering Pres. Obama's second inauguration this morning, MSNBC's Chris Matthews took a moment to accuse the first First Family of having "values problems."
During the coverage, Matthews launched into an anecdote about where George Washington is buried. He explained that the first family was originally meant to be entombed at the foot of the Capitol building in Washington, DC.
Instead, they were buried at Mount Vernon. Matthews said the Washington family chose "wisely" in this case - "despite its other values problems":
