Georgia Board of Ed. Considering Proposal to Protect Kids
The Georgia State Board of Education is taking steps to protect high school children from being recruited by homosexuals into gay clubs. A gay oriented DC newspaper, is reporting that the Board is planning a final vote on the proposal in mid-June.
If adopted, kids would be required to get parental consent before joining any clubs, such as gay-straight clubs. Right now kids can join these clubs without even telling their parents.
"These gay pride clubs are being increasingly used by the radical homosexual lobby in their agenda to brainwash kids into thinking that homosexuality is natural, safe, and an acceptable lifestyle choice," said Eugene Delgaudio, President of Public Advocate of the United States, a Virginia based pro-family group. "Nothing could be farther from the truth, and if athletes need to get parental consent, students should need to get the same permission to join one of these clubs. The danger to kids who join these radical clubs is much greater than what they might face on the football field. We hope and pray that the members of the Board of Education in Georgia have the courage to pass this important rule."
