42 SENATORS ADMIT: U.S. OBSCENITY LAWS NOT ENFORCED

We encourage Senator Hatch and 41 U.S. Senators who have admitted, in a letter, that obscenity laws are not being enforced.

Public Advocate in a letter to a million subscribers asks: where is the outrage? Where are the public hearings and finally why is the U.S. Senate not impeaching and voting to send articles of impeachment for the Attorney General to have Congress remove an official who does not enforce obscenity laws?

The 42 Senators wrote the Attorney General in support of more prosecutions for federal obscenity. In the letter, Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) wrote Attorney General Eric Holder demanding more federal obscenity prosecutions.

42 Senators are asking Holder to "pick up the pace" and, of course, libertarians and homosexual groups are condemning Hatch.

The CBS news claims that because people buy pornography "it does not violate the community standard."

Similar to the arguement that the more homosexuals get to promote their lifestyle without challenge, then it is "normal".

So if Americans do nothing then you get more pornography goes the logic.

And equally pressing, if Americans do nothing about homosexual propaganda then America will get more homosexual promotion to children and society.

[From Hatch's letter to Holder]

Senator Hatch said "Simply put, we know more than ever how illegal adult obscenity contributes to violence against women, addiction, harm to children, and sex trafficking. This material harms individuals, families, and communities and the problems are only getting worse."

Christians urging Obama government to crack down pornography

Regrettably, our government is not enforcing existing federal laws against pornography. We ask for your help right now to reverse this course," said ERLC president Dr. Richard Land.

"Congress has put laws on the books, but those laws will not be effective until they are enforced," Hatch said simply.
