Anti-Christian Gay Groups Demand Chic Fila End All Charity Fundraising
It started out as an issolated event but homosexual blogs are attempting to end the long standing practice of a national restaurant chain that routinely raises millions of dollars for thousands of non-profits, charities and youth sports groups.
Responding to an anti-Christian attack on Chic Fila claiming that supporting traditional marriage as a "homophobic political support of a political group", the national corporate office issued a statement:
"Operators simply agree... to provide sandwiches and brownies for the events as many Chick-fil-A franchisees have done over the years for community events, businesses and civic groups," said Chick-fil-A president and COO Dan Cathy.
In a Christian Post article Thursday, PFI president Michael Geer claimed the controversy was "trumped up" and corrected suggestions that Chick-fil-A's corporate office was involved in the decision. Instead, he said, local managers decided to join (local) event(s).
