CPAC Goes Pink
Washington, DCThe Conservative Political Action Conference seems to be losing some of its conservative credentials, according to Public Advocate President Eugene Delgaudio. The group, which has been a traditional leader in the conservative movement for over thirty years, invited the homosexual lobbying group, Log Cabin Republicans, to participate in one of the panels during the conference. They also accepted money from the liberal group allowing them vendor space.
"It is disconcerting to see that CPAC has decided to associate itself with liberal groups like the Log Cabin Republicans," said Delgaudio. "Taking their dirty money does not ender them to CPAC's conservative base. We sincerely hope that they renounce their lapse in judgment and refuse to allow the Log Cabins Republicans and other groups representing the homosexual lobby to participate in future CPACs.
