Tea party wins victory in Utah as Big Spending GOP senator loses bid for nomination
The W. Post reports: "The national "tea party" movement toppled its
first incumbent Saturday as long-serving Sen. Robert F. Bennett was
defeated at the Utah Republican Party's nominating
convention...."
Bennett voted for Tarp (the bank bailout under President Bush), assisted in the destruction of the health industry in America and voted frequently to increase federal spending. And he expected conservatives in a conservative state to accept socialism as normal.
Even the W. Post concedes that Utah's other veteran GOP Senator Orin Hatch is "probably" toast in 2012.
