Judge Attacks Marriage in NYC
Public Advocate condemns the latest action of judicial activism in New York City as Manhattan judge Doris Ling-Cohan struck down traditional marriage for the residents of New York City.
"Once again we see an un-democratic action where a judge has decided to legislate instead of interpret," stated Public Advocate President Eugene Delgaudio. "This is only one more example of why marriage amendments to the federal and to state constitutions are so imperative. If we are to protect our families from these radical judges and bureaucrats, these amendments must be prioritized and adopted."
