BAUER: Please Don't Hate Us Christians
In a pleading commentary, former presidential candidate Gary Bauers details the many lashings given to social conservatives and asks the liberals in the Republican Party "please don't hate us". He cites marriages where "contempt" is shown and ridicule of a spouse and how the current political marriage between the Republicans and liberals is on the rocks.
Rather than read the liberals out of the party, Bauer asks them to accept social conservatives.
Public Advocate does not think that will happen. Liberals will never accept social conservatives as long as social conservatives lack the political will to sit out elections or vote against liberals in both parties. They can hate us all they want. Just respect us and don't support laws, policies and candidates that are anti-Christian, or else.
