Letter to U.S. Senator Dole From Public Advocate Asks To Oppose Ted Kennedy's Thought Control Bill

DEFEAT THE THOUGHT CONTROL BILL PETITIONS ENCLOSED

Date of this Letter: August 29, 2008

Petitions for Senator Elizabeth Dole

Enclosed are petitions from your state in opposition to the Ted Kennedy "Thought Control Bill" -- also titled the "Federal Hate Crimes Act."

Please vote against the so-called Federal Hate Crimes Act that would establish federal "hate crimes" against Christians who proclaim God’s law in public places.

This bill, also called the "Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes Act," would grant special rights to homosexuals, cross dressers, and transgender individuals. The bill would enshrine freakish and strange perversions under federal law by adding sexual orientation and bizarre practices to federal hate crimes statutes.

Public Advocate has informed its members and the public that you are about to vote on this bill and, if you were in the Senate, how you voted previously. Our group is asking you to vote "no". This bill is "anti-Christian" and a vote for it is considered an attack on all Christians.

Petitions from your state and other states are included to show national support in opposition to this terrible piece of legislation. We will tell the petition signers and supporters how you vote.

Please vote against the Thought Control Bill. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Eugene Delgaudio

President, Public Advocate of the U.S. Inc.
