Public Advocate Continues Cake for Marriage Tour in Carolinas

Public Advocate of the United States, a Virginia-based pro-family organization, is continuing its cake for marriage tour in Greenville, SC and Asheville, NC on
Tuesday, October 26, 2004.
Volunteers from Public Advocate wearing traditional wedding attire will participate in a cake cutting ceremony and then hand out free wedding cake to people at the Capitol in support of the Federal Marriage Amendment which would preserve marriage as the union between one man and one woman.
In Greenville the group will begin handing the wedding cake out at 12:30 PM EDT amd in Asheville, the group will begin handing the wedding cake out at 3:30 PM EDT and will continue until all the cake is handed out. Recipients of the cake will be asked to support FMA and urge their state representatives and senators to put pressure on Congress to pass the constitutional amendment and, if necessary, begin a petition for a limited constitutional convention to consider the Federal Marriage Amendment.
