Joe Rogan defends super genius Elon Musk and his DOGE crackdown
Joe Rogan called Elon Musk a "super genius" as he defended the tech mogul's work slashing federal spending through his Department of Government Efficiency, claiming the cutbacks are "good for everybody."
During Tuesday's episode of "The Joe Rogan Experience," the popular podcaster ripped into Democrats who have blasted the SpaceX founder over his access to America's sensitive information, including the Treasury Department's payment system, as he scraps and dramatically transforms entire government agencies.
"He has $400 billion, he's not going to steal your money. I'm telling you he's not going to steal your money. I'm telling you, that's not what he's doing," Rogan said in a viral minute-long clip that Musk shared on X, which he owns, with the caption, "The party is just getting started."
"He's a super genius that's been f-ed with. And when you've been f-ed with by these nitwits that hide behind 3-letter agencies and you're dealing with one of the smartest people alive and he helps Donald Trump get into office and he goes, 'I want to find out what kind of corruption is really around,'" the comedian continued.
