UPDATE: MELANIA TRUMP HOSTS GAY LOBBY FUNDRAISER - BAGS $1.4 MILLION

(UPDATED) Breaking: Eugene Delgaudio president of Public Advocate, is alerting supporters nationwide in an email alert concerning Melania Trump's Homosexual Lobby Fundraising Party.

Delgaudio said: (in part)

"Trump supporters and Christians have been nothing but supportive of Melania Trump. However in recent weeks, she has missed rallies for Trump but it is now being reported she hosts Homosexual Lobby leaders at her home in Florida and now her home in New York City."

"It is more than disappointing that raising money for homosexual lobbies after the Platform purge of traditional one man one woman marriage and just prior to the national Republican Convention is a bit harsh for most decent pro-family conservatives," says Eugene Delgaudio, president of Public Advocate.

Page Six reports:

Melania (Trump) hosted an intimate gathering of megadonors at her and her husband's penthouse to drum up donations to the Log Cabin Republicans, the conservative LGBT group...........

The event, which immediately followed a fund-raiser at the Fifth Avenue home of Duke and Hannah Buchan, raked in over $1.4 million.

It was the first campaign event of the year at the Trumps' personal residence, and was Melania's second solo appearance in support of her husband's presidential campaign, after she hosted an LCR (Log Cabin Republican) event at Mar-a-Lago in April.

The Mirror reports:

The former first lady ......... hosted megadonors at Trump Tower in a bid to drum up funds for the largest conservative LGBTQ+ organization, Log Cabin Republicans. In a rare show of support for her husband, the event raised $1.4 million in one night, aiming to secure 50% of the LGBTQ+ community's votes.

The first Log Cabin Republicans event was held in April 2017 at the Trumps' Mar-a-Lago estate, attended by then-President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping. There were about 60 guests in the Tea Room of the private Palm Beach club including Caitlyn Jenner, Dr. Mehmet Oz and Elizabeth Ailes.

Richard Grenell, former Acting Director of National Intelligence in President Donald Trump's Cabinet in 2020 posted about the event on X. He tweeted: "Melania Trump opened her NYC Penthouse tonight to raise money for @LogCabinGOP. It's the first campaign event ever held at the Trump residence. And we raised $1.4 million in one night. Our goal is to get 50% of the gay vote for Donald Trump."
