One Million Wooden Nickels To Defend Marriage
A non-profit group handed out special issue commemorative coins to defend marriage Friday, Feb. 13 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at First Street and Constitution Avenue, N.E. in front of the Dirksen Senate offices.
Members of Public Advocate of the U.S. held a sign that with the words "Happy Valentine's Day, Free Coin Here to Defend Marriage" and handed out wooden nickels.
The wooden nickels have a printed message: "Don't make marriage worthless, Pass the Marriage Amendment".
