BARACK OBAMA'S FDA IS NOW TRYING TO MAKE IT EASIER FOR
"MSM" HOMOSEXUAL ACTIVISTS TO PUT NATION'S BLOOD SUPPLY AT RISK

Speaker Paul Ryan has said he will stop any extremist executive orders from
the Obama Administration, but this is one of those pesky social or moral
issues that Ryan has been reluctant to lead on.

We need your help to stop one of President Obama's last efforts to cater to homosexual advocacy groups with a Post Thanksgiving Day Sneak attack.

Public Advocate reminds Americans of the dangers of allowing homosexuals to give blood.

In the 1980s, the AIDS epidemic - brought on by promiscuous homosexuals, contrary to the media blackout-- resulted in 22,000 innocent Americans contracting HIV through contaminated blood transfusions. Even after the CDC recognized the problem and urged the FDA to act, the FDA instead chose to listen to the radical homosexual lobby, waiting over three years with its head in the sand before finally taking action.

WARNING TO SENSITIVE EYES, DESCRIPTIVE MEDICAL POLICIES FOLLOW.

In 1985, during the Reagan Administration, the FDA finally implemented a policy which would ban blood donations by those that they politely describe as "men who have sex with men" ("MSM").

This ban was called an "indefinite deferral" and applied to all homosexual males who have had sex with another man at anytime since 1977.

That ban for homosexuals, coupled with the development of testing to screen donated blood, caused the number of new blood transfusion HIV infections to plummet almost to zero. The risk of contracting HIV from a blood transfusion decreased from 1 in 2,500 to 1 in 1.47 million.

Eugene Delgaudio, president of Public Advocate says "Responsible medical policies in place for 31 years avoided a disaster, now a lame duck President, who has lied about transgender policies, may suddenly expose thousands to unsafe and perhaps deadly risks."

PRESIDENT OBAMA BENT OVER BACKWARDS LAST YEAR

Unfortunately, late last year, the Obama FDA again bowed to pressure from the radical homosexual lobby. In December of 2015, the FDA changed from its policy of "indefinite deferral" to a policy urging homosexuals to avoid giving blood for one year after last having had sex with a man. The FDA's theory essentially was - since all blood is screened after donation, why not allow homosexuals to donate blood, and let's hope the tests work.

GAY LOBBY DEMANDED MORE

But even that one-year deferral period was not enough for the radical homosexual lobby. The very same homosexual groups that brought us the 1980's catastrophe are now demanding that the FDA eliminate all deferral periods, so that any homosexual who wishes to donate blood may do so. The Obama FDA is now considering abolishing all meaningful restrictions on donations of potentially HIV-contaminated blood.

PUBLIC ADVOCATE ON THE RECORD

Public Advocate is preparing detailed comments to be filed with the FDA to combat this reckless and dangerous proposal by the radical homosexual lobby to possibly endanger many vunerable populations.

But government agencies count the number of comments received and therefore, we need your help. Below you will find a draft set of comments that you can send to the FDA to let your voice be heard on this important issue.

Dear Sirs:

I write to oppose the efforts of the FDA to make it easier for homosexuals to donate blood.

The FDA should not bow to pressure from the radical homosexual lobby to eliminate the deferral periods for "men who have sex with men."

America's blood supply is protected only by the deferral period for "men who have sex with men," and by post-donation screening of donated blood. Weakening either of those protections threatens to put the safety of America's blood supply at risk.

The FDA failed the American public by failing to protect our blood supply in the early 1980's by failing to address the problem of HIV. The FDA should learn from its mistakes, rather than repeat them.
