     Conservative. Judge Robert Bork was originaly appointed by Ronald Reagan to the Supreme Court, but the Senate liberals "Borked" his appointment. He now teaches law at the University of Richmond.
   • George H.W. Bush
     Moderate. Former President of the United States. As President, Bush appointed liberal Justice David Souter and conservative Justice Clarence Thomas. The former President is not an Attorney, but is not technically required to be by the Constitution.
   • Dan Quayle
     Conservative. The former Vice President has long been an outspoken Conservative. He was viciously attacked by the liberal media for his pro-family beliefs. An Attorney, he now serves on the boards of various corporations.
   • Alex Kozinski
     Conservative. The Bulgarian born judge is one of the few strong Conservatives on the far left 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. At the age of 35, he was appointed by Reagan to the Court in 1985, making him the youngest federal appellate judge.
   • Edith Jones
     Conservative. This Texas native has been a strong conservative voice on the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals since she was appointed by Regan in 1985. She has written many strongly written opinions and would likely be strongly opposed by the left.
   • Michael W. McConnell
     Conservative. The 10th Circuit judge is the top choice of the Christian Legal Society. He has already made it through confirmation once under George W. Bush's administration.
   • J. Harvie Wilkinson
     Moderate. Wilkinson is seen as an intellectual heavy-weight on the conservative 4th Circuit Court of Appeals, but is viewed as a moderate on social issues like abortion.
   • Janice Rogers Brown
     Conservative. The former California Supreme Court justice was filibustered for over two years by liberals in the U.S. Senate. She was confirmed on June 8, 2005 for her seat on the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals.
   • J. Michael Luttig
     Conservative. The 4th Circuit Judge is viewed as one of the most conservative appellate judges in the federal judiciary. The former Scalia and Berger law clerk was appointed by George H.W. Bush and also served in the Reagan administration.
   • Priscilla Owen
     Conservative. The former Texas Supreme Court Justice recently survived a Senate filibuster to take her seat on the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. The Sunday School teacher was heavily criticized by the left for her positions on issues such as abortion and parental consent.
   • Emilio Garza
     Conservative. The 5th Circuit Judge would be attacked for his pro-life positions. The George H.W. Bush appointee is originally from San Antonio, TX and would be the first Hispanic on the Court.
   • Edith Brown Clement
     Conservative/Unknown. This 5th Circuit Judge was rumored to be Bush's original choice for the Alito seat.
   • President George W. Bush
     The former President.
   • Dr. Walter E. Williams
     Black economist with judicial stature in the international community for his principled and sensible observations about life, market economy and justice.
