Paying back the Homosexual Lobby

Radical Homosexual Activist to Head OPM

Barack Obama is wasting no time in paying back the Homosexual Lobby for its support of his Presidential campaign.

President Obama is set to nominate radical homosexual activist John Berry to the post of Director of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM).

This appointment would make Berry the most powerful "out" homosexual in the history of the United States Government.

As a director at the Smithsonian, Berry enacted a radical pro-homosexual agenda that included the extension of benefits to the partners of homosexual employees and the creation of a number of homosexual-only employee services.

If confirmed to the OPM post, Berry would set personnel policy for the federal government, giving him free reign to impose pro-homosexual hiring practices and extend special employee benefits to all homosexual federal employees.

Homosexual Activist Could Wield Dangerous Power

At the same time, Public Advocate expects Senator Joseph Lieberman to reintroduce his Domestic Partnership Benefits and Obligations Act this year - a bill designed to extend full health and insurance benefits to the homosexual "partners" of government workers.

Last year, Lieberman's bill died in committee due to opposition from the OPM.  But with Berry in charge now, the OPM will volunteer the federal government's full support for such legislation pushed by the Homosexual Lobby.

"John Berry as Director of the Office of Personnel Management is a scary thought," said Eugene Delgaudio, President of Public Advocate.  "Under his direction, the OPM will no longer oppose and will instead advocate these special homosexual benefits.  We've lost yet another form of defense."
