Defending the family

Musgrave Named July Family Advocate

Washington, DC--Public Advocate President Eugene Delgaudio proudly hand delived the following letter to Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave today naming her Family Advocate of the Month:

Dear Congresswoman Musgrave:

It is a deep honor for Public Advocate of the United States to confer upon you the honor of being selected Family Advocate of the Month for July. Your vigorous defense of American families in Congress makes you the natural choice to receive this great honor on behalf of the hundreds of thousands of pro-family citizens that make up Public Advocate.

Previous recipients of this award include Senators Jesse Helms and Rick Santorum, along with Miss America Erika Harold. Along with the Family Advocate of the Month honor, Public Advocate will send a $100.00 contribution in your name to the charity of your choice.

In this age of danger that our families and values are currently facing, it has become essential to have leaders such as yourself who are willing to stand up against the anti-family extremists in the radical homosexual lobby and the politically correct elite in the national media to defend the values on which America was founded.

You show your constituents and all Americans your courage by introducing such bold legislation as the Defense of Marriage Amendment to the Constitution. This courage should serve as an example to your colleagues in both the House and Senate. Now more then ever this amendment is essential for the protection of families, especially in light of recent so-called "decisions" by the Supreme Court that essentially legislate the agenda of the radical homosexual lobby from the federal bench. It is the sincere hope of all the pro-family Americans of Public Advocate that legislation such as yours be enacted to put a leash on the activism of this Court.

We thank you for your leadership and wish you all the best as you continue to fight for the American family.

Sincerely,
Eugene Delgaudio
President
