VP Dick Cheney Lies About Support For Traditional Marriage Today. Public Advocate will not allow Cheney To Get Away With It.

"Former Vice President Dick Cheney took the side of his U.S. Senate candidate daughter Liz in her high-profile spat over gay marriage with lesbian sister Mary, saying Monday that he was "pained" that the family dispute had become so public, Politico reported.
Cheney and his wife, Lynne, issued a statement noting that the gay-rights issue was one "we have dealt with privately for many years."
"[We] are pained to see it become public," the parents wrote. "Since it has, one thing should be clear. Liz has always believed in the traditional definition of marriage."
Public Advocate president Eugene Delgaudio says "Vice President Cheney, and his family, consistently issued public statements in support of gay marriage and never once issued any statements picked up by any news media in a decade in support of traditonal marriage. Cheney is omiting his being pro-homosexual marriage by now claiming he has always supported traditional marriage. His strong statements of support of the gay lobby earned his openly gay daughter a permanent national role and now that his other daughter wants a U.S. Senate seat occupied by a pro-family Senate Conservative, its time to fabricate and attempt to replace his and his family's pro-homosexual record. Public Advocate will not allow this travesty. "
