Group Exposes Carnahan's Record of Fighting for Radicals over Families

Falls Church, VA -- Public Advocate of the United States, a pro-family group based in Northern Virginia, announced today that they are mailing postcards to Missourians alerting them of Senator Jean Carnahan's continued support of the radical homosexual agenda being pushed by Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton

The postcard uses Carnahan's co-sponsorship of the Kennedy-Clinton-Carnahan Thought Control Bill (S. 625), which lightens penalties for violent crimes through federalization and would lead to the criminalization of thoughts rather than actions, as the most dangerous example of her extremism.

"This is a time of urgency," the postcard tells recipients. "Our family rights are in great peril. Jean Carnahan has joined Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton in proposing legislation that is a direct attack on our families!

"The Kennedy-Clinton-Carnahan Thought Control Bill (S. 625) would criminalize opposition to the Homosexual Agenda and weaken the penalties for violent crimes. This is a dangerous bill, even a pastor in the pulpit could be silenced for what these radicals call "hate speech."

"This bill could come up again in the November lame-duck session where Missouri will be represented by either Carnahan or Jim Talent. In June the Thought Control Bill was defeated by only one vote, so your help is critical!"
