Public Advocate of The U.S., a Virginia based pro-family group will be on Capitol Hill on Thursday, January 26, 2006 at 11:15 AM supporting Judge Alito's Supreme Court nomination by passing out "Confirm Uncle Sam" promotional materials and singing to passers-by.

When: Thursday, January 26, 2006 at 11:15

Where: On Capitol Hill in front of the Dirksen Senate Office Building at the corner of 1st St. and Constitution, NE.

Who: Public Advocate's "Uncle Sam" Alito Citizens' Ensemble will perform with Public Advocate President Eugene Delgaudio.

Why: Public Advocate continues to vigorously support the nomination of Judge Alito to the Supreme Court and opposes any delay tactics by the radical left obstructionists in the Senate.

The ensemble will be singing "Alito," which will be sung to the tune of "Maria" from 'West Side Story" as they are passing out the "Confirm Uncle Sam" materials. The lyrics to the song are:

"The most beautiful sound I've ever heard
/Alito, Alito/Alito, I just met a judge named Alito/
And suddenly the name will never be the same/
Alito, Bush just picked a judge named Alito/
Alito, say it proud, that Republican saying/
Say it soft and there's Democrats praying/
Alito, may the Senate confirm Alito."

Public Advocate has been fighting for the American family for over 25 years. It is exempt from federal taxation under IRC section 501(c)4. Contributions for gifts to Public Advocate are not tax-deductible.

This song was first sung by Senator Larry Craig and Paul Shaffer
