Quaker and former head of Reference and Instructional Services at
Bromfield Library on Ohio State University's Mansfield campus, Scott
Savage was accused of sexual harassment for recommending a conservative
book ("The Marketing of Evil") to the required freshmen reading list,
at Ohio State University. After being condemned
publicly by a unanimous faculty, Savage filed a federal civil rights
lawsuit against the school and faculty members.
Public
Advocate commends Mr. Savage for defending his 1st and 14th
Amendment rights.
